Dr. Iris Zodik is a three-time graduate of the Technion, holding a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics Education, and advanced degrees (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) in Mathematics Education. Throughout her career, Iris has led key projects in the field, including the development and authorship of mathematics textbooks for middle schools (grades 7-9) and the management of the Technion’s Excellence Program in Mathematics. Previously, she served as the Director of “Metzref” (The Kadar Center), a center dedicated to implementing inquiry-based learning in schools. Today, Iris is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion. She leads the Clinical Practice program and serves as the Head of the Teacher Induction Unit.
