About the Chemistry Group
The Chemistry Group in the Department of Science and Technology at the Technion focuses on training pre-service chemistry teachers, and in guiding research students for master’s and Ph.D. programs in the chemistry education field, with an emphasis on visualization. The Group’s activities integrate diagnostic and practical research in the fields of teaching and developing advanced teaching environments using new methods and means for teaching and assessment.
Group members are active in professional committees that make decisions on teaching programs in Israel and are involved in their development, implementation and in assessing advanced and new teaching materials allready implemented for several years in the Israeli education system.
