Wishah Zoabi holds a BSc in Education (Electrical Technology), and an MSc in Education in Technology and Science (Cum Laude), all from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. During her studies for a master’s degree, she won the Kaplan Award for an Outstanding Master’s Thesis. Her research dealt with animation-based learning of electronic devices.
Wishah teaches at the Ort Braude Practical Engineering College (electronics major) and is currently the coordinator of analog electronics and hardware description language (VHDL) courses.
In 2014, she started working as an adjunct teacher in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion and taught engineering education courses. Wishah received the Technion’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2014 and 2016. Also, she has received the Technion’s Award for Outstanding Faculty Tutor several times.
In 2019, she began teaching courses in analog and digital electronics in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Braude – College of Engineering.
Currently, Wishah is a doctoral student in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion under the guidance of Dr. Ari Gero. Her research deals with misconceptions of electrical engineering students in the field of electronic circuits.
On the personal side, Wishah is an apprentice in a pilot course, plays the guitar and is a ballet dancer.
