 kers in ministries of education recognize and support the initiative of ST
 EM teachers to use educational robots in their classrooms\, robotics is ne
 vertheless not a mandatory part of the curriculum in many countries. Furth
 ermore\, not many STEM teachers utilize robotics activities in their teach
 ing. Many teachers avoid incorporating robotics into their lessons and pre
 fer to teach in traditional methods. There are several barriers to the eff
 ective implementation of innovative practices in STEM education. In some c
 ases\, STEM teachers lack the competencies as well as the motivation and/o
 r resources like time to make the necessary changes. Our study aims to ide
 ntify the required competencies needed to integrate robotics activities in
 to STEM education\, particularly due to the lack of comprehensive models t
 hat address the necessary competencies for teachers to effectively teach S
 TEM with robotics. In addition\, our study aims to investigate how a task-
 centered robotics professional development program influenced teachers’ 
 competencies\, self-efficacy\, and attitudes toward integrating robotics a
 ctivities into STEM education. Finally\, our study aims to identify the fa
 ctors influencing integrating robotics activities into STEM education from
